Robust drawings and earthy colours characterise these lifelike cockerels and attendant hens. These are not stencilled designs, but are freshly drawn each time, so that each mural has its own spontaneous quality and being individual, is signed and dated.

'CHAUCER'S PILGRIMS'

Meet the honest 'Yeoman', the 'Friar' and his money bags, the dainty 'Prioress', the flashy 'Knight', the naughty 'Wife of Bath' and 'Chaucer' himself wrestling his wayward horse. All available as a traditional 5" format tile, hand-painted in blue on white tin glaze. Characters from Richard Pynson's 1492 edition of Chaucer's Canterbury Tales.

'DAISY & DOTTY'

Daisies or Dots look cool and fresh on these 4" traditional colour greens. Greens shown are:- Duck Pond, Duck Egg and Ivory. Alternatively use the classic colour combinations of plain blue and cream or white daisies and dots on a blue background ~ classic colour combinations that are immune to the whims of fashion. Blues available are:- Flanders Blue, Delphinium, Mid Blue and Dark Blue.

'MEDIEVAL DELFT FLOWERS'

These six stylised flower designs are all derived from medieval texts and painted in several shades of blue. Each one has a "Pops Squiggle" corner. "Pops" was the nick-name given to the Flanders town of Poperinge in World War I by the many allied soldiers who enjoyed there a brief respite from the trenches.

These designs come as a 4" tile on a Cream or Ivory slip background.
